#safeday #modernworklife : Productivity is one’s personal regime, employers and managers need to take it as case-by-case. The more specific you are in your job ad, the better recruit you would get as long as you’re being ethical in your business. Stop considering your employees as paid slaves.
And employees, refrain from saying yes to everything. It won’t give you that promotion or pay hike. I have been to companies where folks turned into bullies to take credit and that promotion, all in name of teamwork and company culture. It’s okay to be selfish sometimes. You don’t lose points. Say NO wherever applicable to your case and invest time in yourself too.
A company is nothing without its people, and one cannot expect to live a #professional life without an organization, too. They both need each-other to exist and grow. And if one is not taking interest in other’s #personal and professional #wellbeing, become the facilitator; TAKE THAT STEP.
Life is too short to spend 12+ hours/day in a company that doesn’t respect your work; Or, with people that don’t share the same passion/ vision as you do as an organization. One must remember that work relations foster with mutual understandings, it’s not a one-way street.
